Bible Study / Orthodox Christian Catechism
Bible Study (In-Person)
Bible Study centers on passages from the Old and New Testament and are tailored according to topics of interest expressed by members of the group and/or Orthodox feast days and liturgical seasons. This group is led by Fr. Theodore, our Parish priest.
All are welcome to the weekly in-person Bible Study group!
Meets on Tuesdays at 10:00am at the Parish Hall. If a Feast day falls on a Tuesday, Bible Study will be rescheduled. (Parish Calendar will reflect this change)
Orthodox Christian Catechism (Online Only)
Fr. Theodore leads the Orthodox Catechism online class which includes instruction regarding the history of the Church, beginning with Christ's ministry and the ministry of the Holy Apostles; the dogma of the Church; the Sacraments of the Church; the Church's liturgical life; the relationship with the Saints of the Church; and the spiritual life of the Church's faithful.
The class is intended for those who want to learn about the Orthodox Christian Church and especially for those who may want to embrace the Orthodox Christian way of life.
All are welcome to this online Zoom Orthodox Catechism class!
The Catechism class is online through Zoom on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. (unless otherwise posted on the Parish Calendar).
- Registration is made by emailing our Father Theodore at fr.theodore@stgeorgepd.org. Once your email is received a link for the Zoom meeting will be sent to the registrant via email.

The Orthodox Study Bible is used in our chatechism and study sessions for participants to follow along. This Bible can be purchased from our Parish Bookstore.
