Welcome to St. George Sunday School

Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God, Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it. (Mark 10:14-15)

Our Mission

The mission of our St. George Orthodox Sunday School is to educate and foster our children to have a deep and close relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ together with his Father and his all-Holy Spirit.  We aim to encourage the children and their families to live their faith by studying the Holy Bible and Orthodox Christian teachings; supporting the church by volunteering their time, talents and treasure as good stewards in fellowship, and developing close, lasting relationships through which they can support with one another in their lifelong journey with Jesus Christ.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. (Phil 4:13)

Who Can Attend Sunday School? 

Sunday School classes are for children ages 3 to 12th grade. We meet monthly from September to May immediately following Holy Communion.  Any visiting child is encouraged to come and join Sunday School, even for just one Sunday!

Sunday School will meet once a month

September 22 – Registration for Sunday School. Meet the teachers and visit the classrooms. Sunday School Registration form.

October 13 – First Day of Sunday School classes and Outreach project with Philoptochos

November 10 – Sunday School classes and special art project with Mr. Louka

December 15 – Sunday School classes and Christmas Program
